Queen Crawl is a fundraising competition in which participants raise money for predetermined nonprofit organizations by creating a drag queen profile on our website and promoting themselves. Once registered, participants have more than a month to raise proceeds, and one final chance at our main event, the Royal Bar Crawl, in which competitors dress in drag and bar-hop. The individual who raises the most money at the end of the crawl is crowned Queen of the Crawl.
Launched in 2018
Our first event successfully raised more than $20,000 for local nonprofits Lifelong, Seattle HRC, Lambert House, Seattle Humane Society and the Gender Justice League. This was only made possible by our Partners and the close to 100 registrants who participated that year.
The pandemic disrupted our plans for 2020 and we are in a wait and see mode for 2021. We can’t wait to hold our next Queen Crawl and would love to see you there. Sign up to get updates as we make plans for our next event.
